The Murder of Olof Palme by carlzon The Murder of Olof Palme by carlzon
1986 on the 28th of February the then Prime Minister of Sweden, Olof Palme, was assassinated on Sveavägen in the center of Stockholm. The murder and the murder weapon (Smith & Wesson Magnum) was never found and the only one who was ever brought to trial for it was aquitted.
The police investigation remains open to this day.

The assassination of Prime Minister Olof Palme was the first murder of a Swedish politician since that of Axel von Fersen in 1810, and the first assassination of a Swedish head of government since that of King Gustav III of Sweden in 1792.

I was there two or three years ago while coming home from norway ... theres a memorial plate on that street ...
What puzzled me was how freely people talk about it ... we didnt know how to get there so i had to ask ... picked out the simplest looking man on the whole street ... a construction worker ... couse mostly their the most open-hearted ... not only that he told me how to get there but also the whole official story on it :] A nice man he was ... i liked stokholm ... especailly at night ... maybe someday ill get back there ... would like that very much :]
Oh ... and the piece ... wonderful :]

Sveavägen 1986 28:de February. Mmm ett mord med lång utredning utan att komma någon vart. Denna bilden är speciell, Skulle passa på omslaget av en av Agata C kriminal romaner :D

It is horrible that the killer/killers were never caught and brought to justice for the people who lost there leader.
I love the illustration. It make a great cover for a Murder Mystery.
