Stockholm - The Old Town (Gamla stan)
The Old Town is probably the place in Stockholm that has the most tourist visitors, night- and daytime. Here one can enjoy tranquillity, as well as entertainment and street life. All within walking distance. This quarter of the city has an eventful history, and has been known as a place of sin, a place of execution and also for grandiose royal weddings. To walk through the alleys of the Old Town is to walk down history lane!
In the distance the clocktower of Storkyrkan, Stockholm's cathedral.

Tool: PowerShot G5
Vertical stiching 4 shots. HDR/Tone-mapping work was done in Dynamic Photo HDR. Some further light and shadow, curves, levels and channel mixer work was done in Photoshop CS2.

Fantastic!

HDR (and some really great Photoshop work) can really give rise to a whole new artistic entity when applied to your photo archive.

Very inspirational.

(like always) :)
